Peter Lawless Collaboration

Solo Sailing Around the World

Later this summer, Irish sailor Peter Lawless will set sail from Kilrush Marina, Co. Clare, to complete a solo circumnavigation, stopping at interesting and remote places on the route.

I was inspired by Peter's story back in 2021 and together we devised a concept to capture his adventures through art. Whales and volcanoes thwarted the journey south on first attempt, but as "artist not in residence" on the journey, I continue to create paintings in response to Peter's experiences. These will be revealed at points in the journey.
